In the spirit of giving and honoring the legacy of Nelson Mandela, the Trafalgar Durban team took part in Mandela Day by visiting The Baby Home in Durban North – a place close to our hearts for the incredible work they do in caring for vulnerable babies and toddlers.
As part of our 67 minutes of service, we gathered essential baby supplies, clothing, nappies, and hygiene products, with one goal in mind: to give back with love. Our team came together not only to donate items, but also to share a moment of warmth, humanity, and unity – values Madiba stood for throughout his life.
The Baby Home provides full-time care to abandoned or orphaned babies, giving them a safe and nurturing environment until they are placed with forever families. Knowing the impact our contributions could make, the Trafalgar team made sure to bring along quality items that would truly support the amazing work being done at the home.
It was a humbling and emotional experience, and one that reminded us how powerful small actions can be when done with great love. We left The Baby Home feeling inspired and grateful – not just for the chance to give, but for the hope and joy we saw in return.
At Trafalgar, we believe in building stronger communities – not just through property management, but through kindness, compassion, and social responsibility.
Thank you to The Baby Home for welcoming us and for the life-changing work you continue to do every single day.
